Appointment Times

Appointments are available Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm.

Fees, Insurance, and Payment for Services

Please call for the current fee for:

an intial diagnostic interview, which is a one-time, in depth psychological evaluation of your current emotional and behavioral functioning as well as treatment recommendations;

the 45-50 minute psychotherapy session;

or psychological/neuropsychological testing.

Insurance

If you have insurance coverage, you may only have to pay a portion (e.g., co-payment) of the contracted fee rate. However, you may have to pay the entire fee amount if your insurance plan has a significant deductible for mental health services. All fees are due at the time of service, which is customary.

Dr. Shepherd recommends that you contact your insurance company to obtain pre-authorization as well as to acquire information regarding your mental health benefits.

Currently, Dr. Shepherd is a credentialed provider with all of the insurance companies listed below. If you do not find your insurance company below, you may still be able to see Dr. Shepherd with "out of network" benefits (contact your insurance company regarding this option).

Payment for Services

Payment is expected at the time services are provided. The full fee is due at the time of your appointment, or your co-pay if you are using insurance.
